A pool is a summer afternoon. Fire is a Tuesday in February. It is the warmth that pulls people out of the kitchen, the light that makes the water glow, and the last thing anyone wants to walk away from.

Spas
Raised spas that spill into the pool, flush spas set into the deck, and standalone spas on their own equipment. Bench layout, jet count and therapy seat placement are drawn for the people who will actually use it.
Adding a spa to an existing pool
Often possible, and one of the most requested remodels we see. The spa is engineered as its own vessel with its own plumbing and, usually, its own heater and blower, then tied into the existing shell with dowelled steel and a new bond beam. It is permitted as new construction, so the barrier and drowning-prevention rules apply to the whole pool area, not just the spa. We check the existing shell, the equipment pad capacity and the gas supply before we draw anything.
Cold plunge
Purpose-built cold plunges with their own chiller and filtration, as a standalone vessel or paired with a spa for contrast therapy.
Water features
Sheer descents, rain curtains, scuppers, bubblers on a tanning ledge, grotto and boulder waterfalls, and vanishing-edge weirs. Each one is a plumbing and acoustics decision as much as a visual one.
Fire
Fire bowls on raised walls, linear fire troughs, and fire pits worked into the hardscape. Gas is run underground with the rest of the utilities before the shoot, so nothing is retrofitted later.
